Materials:
- Watercolor Paint
- White Tempera Paint
- Paintbrushes
- Pencil
- Small piece of drawing paper
- Watercolor paper
- Mod Podge
- Assorted Blue Tissue Paper
- Glue
I originally saw this idea on Lines, Dots, and Doodles but have now recently seen that many other sites have their adaptations as well: School at St. George Place Creation Station Elementary Art Blog, Bright Hub, and that artist woman.
I love to see how one idea can be tweaked and refined to fit out creative needs! As for my students, we tissue papered and mod podged the bottom with different shades of blue, painted the sky with watercolors, splattered falling snow with a toothbrush (always a big hit), and drew our polar bears on separate paper.

I've liked every variation I've seen of this project. Yours are terrific!
