Memorial Day Flag

Materials:
- 6" x 12" Blue Tissue Paper/ Construction Paper
- 12" x 12" Red Tissue Paper/  Construction Paper
- 1" x 12" White Strips
- 6" x 12" White Paper
- White Tempera Paint/ Star Stickers
- Paintbrushes (optional)
- Ruler
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Glue/ Glusticks

1. Fold 6" x 12" white paper in half like a book.

2. Draw a ruler's width line on the three edges that open.

3. Cut out inside so that when it is opened, it looks like a frame.

4. Glue blue tissue paper/ construction paper to the frame.

5. On the red piece of tissue / construction paper, evenly space out 7 white strips and glue down.

6. Glue to edge of blue section.

7. Add stars.

* If I were to do this again, I would glue the blue section on top of the red because I don't like how the stripes' edges pop out (as seen in the top picture).
