Materials:
- Paper
- Oil Pastels
To take a break from some of our lengthier projects, we did this nice, quick review project on warm colors and cool colors.
1. Draw a heart in the center of you paper. Keep drawing larger "rings" around the center heart. I told my students they had to have at least three hearts total.
2. Design a background.
Choosing either warm colors or cool colors, color the hearts in one scheme. Color the background in the opposite scheme.
(As you can see... because my exemplar used warm colors for the hearts and wavy stripes for the background... I had a lot of "followers.")
