Kaleidoscope Names

Materials:
- 12" x 12" Drawing Paper
- Pencils
- Colored Pencils/ Markers
- Ruler

This project is very similar to my Mandala project I do, except this time, the main design is the students' name.

1. Fold paper across the two diagonals. You should have four triangles.

2. With a pencil, design one triangle with your name. Make it fun and creative!

3. Make sure the pencil line is nice and dark. Fold triangle over along the crease. Rub down with a ruler. Make sure to use the end of the ruler rather than it's long side- this applies more pressure in one spot than spread out over 12".

4. Open up and trace over the pencil lines that you see.

 5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the remaining triangles. You should have two triangles with the names facing the right way, and two other triangles with the names reading backwards.
