Winter Scene

Materials:
- Black Construction Paper
- White Oil Pastel
- Colored Chalk Pastels
- White Tempera Paint
- Oval Tracer
- Cotton Balls
- Old Toothbrushes

I saw this on Pinterest... but I didn't Pin It at the time to link back : x. In my defense, I wasn't a member yet so I couldn't Pin It... so if anyone knows the possible inspiration for these, let me know and I'd love to link to it!

These were so simple and they turned out so great!
1. Using an oval template, draw a chalk border around the edge. The more dusty the better.

2. Place in the center of a piece of black construction paper. Holding with one hand in the clean center, use the other hand and take a cotton ball to shmear the chalk dust off the edges. When you take the tracer off, you should have an illuminating affect, similar to these snowflakes.

3. Draw a winter snow scene.

4. Splatter paint with a toothbrush.

5. Ooh and Aah!
