Pearcasso Art Contest

Just spreading the word about a contest you might be interested in : - ).

Throw An Art Contest That Allows Kids to Re-purpose Halloween Candy to Win $2,000 in Art and School Supplies!
Kids love to play with their food, and with their bounty of Halloween candy they can perform some witchcraft of their own by turning their sweets into more than $2,000 of art and school supplies with the Pacific Northwest Canned Pear Service “PearCasso” art contest.
A great party idea—for Halloween or the days afterwards, open a can of pears, spread the candy on the table, and watch the kids’ imaginations go wild.  Visit facebook.com/eatcannedpears to see pear spiders, monsters, and fish. What other amazing creations are out there?
Two talented kids will win a SmileMakers® $100 gift certificate, and an organization can win up to $500 in supplies—whether a school or girls or boys scout organization, or others.  No purchase necessary (you can also download a simple pear graphic from the contest site). Just take a photo of the finished masterpear and follow at (http://eatcannedpears.com/pearcassocontest/).
The PearCasso contest is open to kids in two age categories: 5-12 and 13-18, contest closes November 15, 2011.
