Antique Glue Drawings

Materials:
- Tagboard
- Pencils
- Glue
- Gold Paint
- Shoe Polish
- Rag

1. Draw a simple line drawing onto a piece of tagboard.

2. From the point furthest from you, work towards your body and trace your pencil line with glue- make sure to go slow and steady!

3. When dry, paint over the whole image in gold.

4. Rub entire image with shoe polish.

We also made some frames for Valentine's Day, with the choice of with or without shoepolish!

  1. Great lesson! Do you have to wait for the gold paint to dry before applying the shoe polish?
